Orange warning plates

Orange warning plates mark vehicles and containers that transport dangerous goods. They are available both as durable aluminium panels and as adhesive labels, depending on vehicle type and operating conditions. Common sizes are 400×300 mm and 300×120 mm, chosen to ensure visibility during checks and inspections. Adhesive 300×120 mm versions are widely used in sea transport for containers, while larger 400×300 mm plates serve rail and road vehicles. This marking helps inspectors, police, and emergency crews recognise hazards quickly, reducing errors and delays. Correct plates support safe international operations across road, rail, sea and inland waterways transport (ADR/RID/IMDG/ADN).
